This study aimed to find the types of figurative languanges used in selescted song lyrics Arctic Monkey “AM” album. The Figurative Language found six songs lyric AM There were "R U Mine?", "Do I Wanna Know?", "Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High?", "One for Road", "Arabella", and "Snap out It" lyric. research show how language can be so many forms. showed ways express. qualitative method as a way analyze selected song's from album by Monkeys. data this collections words within their categories Monkeys’ lyrics. result languages most monkey. five that metaphor, simile, hyperbole, metonymy synecdoche.
